About SmokeLess
Built for the people who've tried everything else.
SmokeLess was built on a simple idea: the problem with most smoking apps is that they treat the smoker as the problem. We don't.
The story
SmokeLess started with a single observation: every smoking app on the market either tracks, guilts, or gamifies. Streaks. Counters. Badges for days without a cigarette. The implicit message in all of them is the same: you are failing, and here is a number to prove it.
The idea that became SmokeLess came from a different place entirely. What if the intervention wasn't a dashboard? What if it was just a moment, something that gives the body a response to a craving that isn't a cigarette, and then gets out of the way.
That idea came to Seedcraft Ventures and it sat at the intersection of behavioural science, mindfulness, and considered design that doesn't draw attention to itself.
The result is an app that works for stressed professionals who want to feel more in control. Not people who want to be fixed. Not people who need a coach. People who just need a moment.
What we believe
Principles, not policies
Autonomy over prescription
We don't tell people they need to quit. We give them a tool they can use on their own terms. Sovereignty over the change belongs to them, always.
Invisible progress
Progress should be felt, not tracked. SmokeLess works quietly in the background so you don't have to think about it.
Craft without noise
Every interaction earns its place. No feature exists because it increases engagement metrics. Features exist because they help. That's the only test.
No shame, by design
Shame is not a mechanism. It does not help people change. We made a deliberate decision from day one: there is no shame mechanic anywhere in SmokeLess. Not now, not ever.
